The condos were updated and very modern with everything we needed available. Definitely a great pick of resort of you are traveling with younger kids. The employees told us that during non covid times their activities department has things going all day long for the kids as well. The buildings around this pool area are 28, 29, 30 and 31. The playground was roped off for most of out stay and we saw at the end of our trip that a new awesome looking playground was installed. The mini-golf course and playground are also on this side. Just behind the slide is a jacuzzi and outside the gate is The Outpost where you can get drinks and quick serve snacks like hot pretzels and chicken bites. The pool is beautiful, with a slide on one end.
While we were there the splash pad equipment was repainted. The Florida Falls pool area has a fantastic splash pad area with 2 giant dumping buckets. Also a nice jacuzzi area off to the side. This area also has The Patio where you can get food, drinks, ice cream etc. Around the pool are features that squirt water at the kids while they play. There is a pirate ship with several slides and fun things like a ships wheel. MHL has 2 pool areas, each directly across the resort road from each other making it easy to go back and forth. I knew we needed something fun to keep us busy all day. The 6 year old loves to swim but gets bored quickly of the regular pools at resorts. This trip, I knew we would be staying mostly on property with 2 teens and a 6 year old making it more important than ever that the property suited our needs. I also called to see what was open/closed. When staying in Orlando there are SO many choices so researching what you want and need is important. The Marriott Harbour Lake was excellent all around. We travel quite a bit and I am fairly specific in things I like and dislike in a property. How long do you have a long heart? Maybe the location of this hotel is on the International Avenue and it is easy to go wrong.
